  • The term coach originally came from the idea of a “stagecoach”, a four wheeled public coach typically from out west. They were used to carry passengers on their journeys from point A to point B.

    If you’re ready to take action towards change, and set off on your journey, as your coach, I’ll help you explore the best path and help you navigate the steps.

  • Coaching is a great compliment to therapy. Both support your wellbeing, but unlike a therapist, I am not a healthcare professional. I can not diagnose or treat a client’s mental health.

    Therapy tends to focus on the past and on learning ways to work through your problems.

    Coaching is future based. The focus is on clarity of goals and the steps to overcome obstacles that may arise.

    In therapy, you might be working to get to a point that you feel ready to move forward.

    In coaching, you’re ready! You’re in the mindset to make change, and you’re working on building clarity and taking steps.

    As a coach, I am your sounding board who asks clarifying questions and accountability partner to keep you motivated and aligned with your goal.

  • Developing your mindfulness is a natural part of the coaching process.

    Being mindful is developing your self-awareness, building perspective, and hearing your own voice. It’s understanding your “inner landscape” and how it influences how you interact with the outside world.

    Some people associate mindfulness with meditation. When working together, you do not have to meditate. However, if you are interested, I can provide many resources to help you- even if you haven’t been able to meditate in the past.

    In coaching, I’ll draw upon many techniques to help you define and work towards your specific goals.

    Even if that goal is rediscovering who you are and what lights you up!

  • Coaching is a great tool for bridging the gap between the life you have and the life you know is waiting for you!

    Although I have clients of all genders and ages, I have a strong connection to helping women who are working toward change in their professional or personal life.

    It’s common to enter a new stage where we’re figuring out what’s next, seeking more fulfillment or seeking clarity around our sense of self.

    Women who are changing professions, re-entering the workforce now that their kids are grown, or even figuring out the right next steps in their career path, hire me to guide them seamlessly through the change.

    Meeting consistently over a period of time provides accountability, trouble shooting and the opportunity to shift and change as you grow.

    Calls can be done virtually or on the phone.
