Anytime Mindful Moment (Guided Meditation)

My mentor, Sarah McLean, would always say that meditation is like cleaning a glass surface.

We don’t always notice the accumulation of dust on the surface, just as we don’t always notice the accumulation of stress on ourselves.

I notice this with my glasses all the time! I get used to them being smudgy, and after cleaning them, I can’t believe how much clearer everything looks!

Clean glass allows you to see clearly and lets the beauty shine through, just as we can have a clearer perspective by giving ourselves a chance to turn our attention inward and reset, dusting off the accumulation of stress and distractions.
